Dressing in “Character” to Promote Your Quilting Work

I’d like you to consider something unique for quilters…dressing in “character.” If you wear or use some of your wares, you’ll draw attention to your work, whether you have a quilting related business or are someone who likes to create and quilt.
Also, if you make items for your children to wear and use, this also will call attention to your work.
Develop an item of clothing or accessory that becomes a trademark for you.
*Wear a patchwork skirt for presentations.
*What about a tunic with patchwork or appliqués yoke?
*Carry a patchwork purse or tote bag. My granddaughter and I receive many compliments when we use the ones my daughter stitched for us of denim patches.
*Do you make other patchwork accessories? My daughter made me a pin of Dresden plate design that draws attention whenever I wear it.
*Make yourself a patchwork shawl, wrap skirt or pants.
*For many years, until it wore out, I wore a quilted jacket that coordinated well with my pants and skirts.
Do you wear items you’ve made that call attention to your work or special patchwork niche? I’d love to have you share them with us.
