Dumped by Text – the good, the bad, the ugly

By now we’ve all heard that Britney Spears dumped Kevin Federline by text.  Although they were married and she notified him of the intentions she had of divorce, I think text messages and emails are a growing trend in how people communicate when breaking up with their significant others.

What is your opinion of using text message or emails to break up with someone?

For me, I don’t agree with breaking up this way unless of course you are certain the other person is going to go completely mad over the news.

When it comes to breaking up with someone, I think personal safety is most important.

Personally I think that it is a great way for both parties.
Not only does it avoid any mis-understood information (because your reading it), but you also have a record in your phone, if you need to remind your self that it is “OVER”.

I recently did this to a guy that I wasn’t even in a relationship with. He ignored the text and proceed to call me the very next morning.
So I had to do what most girls hate to do (Except for me) lol. Let him know that I wasn’t attracted to him and we need to lose all contact on each other.
That was 11/24, he still hasn’t stop texting, calling, emailing…so what’s the next step. Restraining order??
