Are you looking for an easy project to do with your kids for Father’s Day?
How about making a hand-stamped t-shirt for Dad?
You’ll need non-toxic fabric or acrylic paints (if using acrylic paint, I’d recommend mixing it with a fabric/textile medium), a t-shirt and permanent or paint markers.
Place a piece of cardboard inside the shirt. This will prevent the paint from seeping through to the back of the shirt.
Have the kids paint their hands and then place them on the shirt – like this:

Let the paint dry overnight and then heat-set, according to the instructions on the paint (bottles of fabric paint and textile medium will have heat setting instructions on the label) Have the kids sign their name and age on their hand print, or just underneath it.
Presto! You’ve got an easy Father’s Day gift that will be treasured for years

You can use them as design motifs in so many ways.
This is a great shirt!
That is a very cute idea. The kids could even pick their own paint colors.
Darn, I wish I had seen this before today. Well there’s always next year or Dad’s birthday.
Fun idea!
What a great gift for Father’s Day, as well as birthdays, Christmas or other special occasions.
