WHAT I THINK:
First of all I’m a little low on silver at my house. I don’t tend to buy stuff like that. BUT I do have some silver rings that i absolutely never clean and they were looking dingy so I grabbed those and got to polishing. You’re supposed to put a little onto a damp cloth and wipe it on your silver. Then you rinse and dry – sounds easy enough.
I didn’t really know what to expect but what I got was some totally shiny rings! I wear these two particular rings daily and as noted, don’t really clean them, but I put hand lotion on a lot too so the rings didn’t look quite so shiny. After polishing I was kind of amazed because I hadn’t seen my rings looking so nice in a good long while. One of the rings has an amethyst stone on it and the polish didn’t scratch it at all. The other ring is a silver spoon ring with tiny flowers and swirls so I used a wet cotton swab and some polish to clean it, and the polish actually got into the tiny crevices and cleaned them nicely.
I like how the polish smells of lemons too. Plus because it’s natural, I wasn’t concerned when I got some on my hand. I mean, I’m not pouring it in my mouth, but I’m glad it didn’t irritate my skin. The last thing I liked about this product was the cost. For the price this stuff will last you a long while for typical small bowls and silverware polishing. You only need a little to bring on the shiny.
Any negatives?:
Not today folks – oh wait, yeah. EFP puts all their MSDS sheets online, which I like, but there’s not one for the silver polish. ?? Not sure what’s up with that.
Overall green score:

Five out of five little trees! I didn’t know my rings needed this, but they really did. While I doubt I’ll be buying a ton of this stuff if you’ve got silver, I’d recommend it.
