Egypt Reports 4th Bird Flu Death

Egypt’s news agency, Mena, is reporting the country’s 4th death from bird flu. There have been a total of 12 cases of bird flu reported in Egypt since March 2006. Five of those cases have made a full recovery, thankfully.

Egypt is taking massive precautions against the spread of H5N1. They range from the banning all domestic poultry farms to the closure of the zoo in the nation’s capital, which has also reported cases if bird flu amongst the birds in their care.
