You showed yours so here are some of mine.
There’s a finished Panadiere, or fabric bread basket along with the original pattern which I did on newspaper. LOL! Then there’s the finished typed and illustrated pattern which I sell on The Artful Crafter. It’s my most popular item.
As for the sketchbooks, I have been intrigued to compare other artists’ submissions. It seems most of us have several sketch or idea books. I have a hard bound book which is the most organized of the lot. It has sections for jewelry, decoupage, sewing etc. and is reserved for ideas that are pretty well formed. Not that I’ve actually gotten around to making them all.

Then there’s a spiral bound 8 ½ by 11 notebook where I sketch any ideas that come to me and kind of form in my mind gradually. When I feel one really has possibilities, it gets sketched in the book.
Finally I have a very small spiral bound book I carry in my purse. That’s for getting ideas down quickly no matter where I might be. I also carry a compact digital camera to get photos of things that inspire me.

I like the idea of one book for glimmers of ideas and then moving them when they seem likely to another that won’t have as much mess and no-go’s in it. I’ll have to remember this.
I like this idea too…it makes the first notebook seem not so “precious” somehow
Timaree & Cyndi, that’s exactly right!
My two spiral-bound sketchbooks are a creative mess. LOL. I cross off ideas when I reject them or “promote” them to the hardbound book. I even cut out sections I really like and glue them into the hardbound book. The hardbound one has become a sort of collage in process!
