Elisabeth, sheesh

Did anyone see Elisabeth’s head explode this morning on The View over New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s affair with a hooker?
Funny, she seemed so much calmer and less hysterical when it was Rev. Ted Haggard, the former president of the National Association of Evangelicals that admitted to buying drugs and getting a sexual massage.
When it was the gay-hating Republican pastor she thought it was tragic such a great man had fallen in the face of temptation, but she believed in his redemption and she believed in his apology.
Now the democrat is a power hungry politician whose apology is meaningless and useless to her.
So transparent Elisabeth.

Oh my goodness, I can’t wait to watch my recording of the View now. I’ve always hated E. but she actually has seemed better lately. Now I’ll have new reason to hate her again. Ha ha.
I agree, the last few weeks I thought perhaps she might be becoming somewhat human. Alas . . .she’s still Elizabeth.
I could never stand Elizabeth. I find myself always yelling at the tv when she’s on. She’s a narrow minded twit in my humble opinion!!!
You make a good point..truth is both men are guilty of inexcusable actions and I feel for their families
Both men are. And I do too.
Elizabeth also nearly flipped off her chair when Joy said she was “sick of men” and this type of terrible behavior.
“Excuse me!” Elizabeth squeels “There were two people, a man and a woman equally involved in this.”
Just a few rational points here about culpability:
The hooker isn’t the governor.
The hooker hasn’t taken marital vows.
The hooker isn’t the father of 3 daughters.
Cannot. stand. her. Even if I didn’t agree with her political slant, she seems incapable of critical thinking. I’m so sick of her defending George Bush and the like. Yeah, I’m a democrat, but I still can admit that Spitzer is an immoral criminal.
Okay, did you see her insinuate that it’s really Spitzer’s wife’s fault because she probably wasn’t putting out enough?
“As a woman don’t you think we should understand that our guy needs sex and have it anyway even if we don’t feel like it?” she says.
That’s right Elizabeth. Blame the wives of philanderers.
If you walk the fine line, agree with all their opinions, wear the right clothes, have sex with them enough, cheer from the sidelines while they play their games, learn to throw a baseball and nod your pretty little head at everything they say – well, then you’ll be able to keep your man and the feminine condition just doesn’t apply to you.
When I read this I fell off my chair laughing.
I will have to watch the show.
I wouldn’t miss the View for years….then along came Elizabeth….I too yelled at the t.v. every
time she opened her mouth…now I only watch if she’s not there…have another kid, E., I miss the View.
