Believe it or not we just got an invite to a wedding and all I thought of was hey a grown up night with my wife ,and I’m sure there will be a few people there to keep it green for me .I ve been to several weddings in sobriety an there s always been one or more “normal” drinkers to keep me grateful.

BTW the Irishmen is in there gray bar hotel picked up yesterday , maybe i;ll go to a meeting at the river head complex ?lol

You’ll actually realize that everyone doesn’t get s*itfaced at weddings. You only thought they did because you were too drunk to notice in the middle of the dance floor. (well, at least I was)

And you’ll stop thinking of every wedding as, “Great, an open bar! Party!” (didn’t you used to love receptions?) and start to focus on the real meaning of the event.
