The buzz words, “environmentally friendly” have found their way into the quilting/fabric arts arena with “green” batting, as described at Checker Newsletter.  Jenny Stratton has researched and written a 3-part series about these products in the quilting world particularly involving batting.

The buzz work lately has been “GREEN”.  Everywhere I turn I find an article about being gentler to our enviroment.  Quilting is no exception.  Did you know that there are several  “Green” choices when chosing your batting?  This will be part one of a three part series.

You’ll find a great deal of very interesting information in these articles concerning quilting supply companies producing products that are environmentally friendly.  Ms. Stratton looks at the offerings from companies such as Fairfield, Mountain Mist, and Warm and Safe.
