Ethel Gloves – Review

Recently we gave away a pair of Ethel Gloves, and I was also fortunate enough to get a pair to review! As promised, here are my thoughts. I was fortunate that here in the Midwest, I was able to test the gloves in the heat (80 degrees), and in the colder weather (50s). Yes, here in the Midwest our temps vary quite a bit! I found that the Ethel Gloves were breathable in the hot weather and warm enough to keep your fingers from freezing off in the colder weather.

I’m just learning how to garden, and finding it a really relaxing past time. One thing I’ve learned so far is that normally garden gloves are huge and floppy. They never seem to fit your hand. I have fairly small hands and always have a hard time getting gloves to fit me. That’s one of the things that pleased me about Ethel Gloves – they fit to a T!

I got the jubilee (blue) gloves, and thought they looked so cute and stylish. The inside has a material that lets you grip your shovel or hoe nicely, but the outside makes it look like you’re at a garden party! I loved that.

I think at least one pair of Ethel Gloves are a must for any gardener. Even if you’re a casual gardener, the fact that these fit so well will help you do whatever project you have that needs the use of gloves. I can’t say enough about them and think they’re a great value. If you do decide to purchase them, don’t forget about the 10% discount for Blisstree readers through May 15th using BLISS10.
