Evan Kamida passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this week. I met his mother, Vicki Forman, last weekend and how I wish I, and Jim and Charlie, could have met Evan, too.
Many thoughts and many hugs to his family, and much more.
Contributions can be made to remember Evan to:
The Pediatric Epilepsy Fund at UCLA
Division of Pediatric Neurology, Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA
David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA

Devastating news. Our thoughts go with Evan and his family.
I do not know Vicki and did not know Evan, but the death of a child is always the saddest news. I am very sorry.
I know I get stuck on the sibling thing, that I view most things through that lens, but I’d like to say, again, that while my the whole family is in my heart, my thoughts are especially with Evan’s sister Josie at this time.
That is just sad.
Oh my God, my heart goes out to Vicki and her family.
