Even surgeons can be moms

I belong to a forum – non-health-related – that recently was having a very strong debate regarding maternity leave. In the middle of the debate, I came across this piece, Childbearing in Surgical Residency.

The author discusses how pregnancy can cause problems if you are studying to be a surgeon, some of the pitfalls, and how she coped. It’s an interesting look into a field that many people never have a chance to see.
