Rachel Ray, the Food Network’s resident girl-next-door type, is easy to scoff at. She never went to formal cooking school. She wants to appeal to the average person with not much time and not much money. Shes not a foodie in the travel across the globe to eat the freshest wasabi straight from the farm sense, but she does love her food.

Enthusiasm is her MO. Peppy very well might be her middle name. She calls extra virgin olive oil “EVOO” for christ’s sake. Everyone loves to hate on Ray Ray.
