EZ Bun, Overprotective Mom = Bad For Business

Tracee, I am Lisa, the owner of Bows By Lisa Luann: My mother has just forwarded me your email/blogs that have been written, ones she has received and ones she has sent. I think this whole ordeal has been blown way out of proportion. Please let me explain. My husband and I travel and sell, my mom is in charge of all my emails, orders, paperwork etc. She is a mom and a very protective one to boot. We were advised by my lawyer friend awhile back not to let anyone use my photos or name because allowing that to happen over a period of time could make me lose the rights to it. My mom was just being careful when seeing your email/blog and got instantly concerned, like most moms, especially her. She did take it in a different way when she read the part saying you should buy it so you could get an instruction- thinking your idea was to tell people to order one so they could turn around and make their own. I don’t feel that what you were saying was intended to hurt my company, it was just taken differently, by my mom who tends to always have a watchful eye. You are right when you say you have freedom to say what you want. Again I think you did have lovely things to say about my EZ BUNS, but it has now turned sour unfortunately. We do have a lifetime warranty. Reading in your last blog you mentioned I hadn’t sent a replacement, all you need to do is send it back with a s.a.s.e. and well send you a new. Always have, always will that is my policy. Hopefully this will clear things up.

Good luck to you. I still say the EZ Bun is a great hair product that makes a lovely, sophisticated and neat bun. It stays tight all day long and in the evening when you take it down your hair will be enormously curly.

Thanks for the update, Tracee. It’s far more understandable now, and it’s nice not to think that everyone hasn’t just gone nutty. I definitely will give this a try, and I’m glad that EZ Bun folks stepped up to explain. I feel better, and I’ll be buying some now (as long as I really don’t cut my hair like I’m considering).
I have to say I’m really tempted to order one too. I’m glad Lisa apologized!
You should order one. It’s a great product.
Tracee, I’m glad to hear this is being worked out. She should be using your picture at her site – your bun looks FABULOUS!
Well, that was nice. I will order one now.
I bought EZ Bun at the NYS Fair. I love it! Its soo easy I use is almost daily to have quick neat hair for work. Glad to hear that Lisa is not totally freaky – i thought her and her husband were hard working nice people when I met them and bought my EZ Bun.
I recently bought 26 of these fun EZ BUNS at the San Diego County Fair a few days ago for myself and my 2 year old daughter. I played with this hair product on my daughter and it was fast and easy and she did not complain, in fact, she wanted to wear it once she saw me with mine! I love this product and highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in something stylish yet comfortable to wear.
One thing I did note in this blog is I was not told that these had a lifetime warrenty when I made my purchases on two separate days during the fair. I was concerned that if mine broke, was I to throw it away?? I am really glad to see that Ms. Luann stated about the replacement issue on her website.
Ms. Luann, thank you for a wonderful product and I look forward to buying more colors. I also would like for you to know that I also bought two of your Flexi-Bows; and yes, my daughter loves her butterfly!
