EZSchool Supplies Giveaway
UPDATED WITH WINNER – The winner is Elizabeth F. from The Whole Family.
WearyParent is participating in the mega-giveaway carnival at Bloggy Giveaways this week. With the return to school looming right around the corner, it is just about time to start shopping for school supplies. With three kids in different grades and schools, I have often wished I could just hand the teacher a check and have them hand my child all the school supplies needed for the year. Just think of the money and time you could save. EZSchoolSupplies.com has been reading Moms’ minds!!
EZSchoolSupplies.com is a one stop shop for school supplies. Schools and teachers can register their supply lists with EZSchoolSupplies and then time-crunched Moms like me can look up the school/teacher, chose the appropriate school supply pack, and the supplies will arrive in the mail. No driving all over town or waiting in lines. And the school can benefi, too, because EZSchoolSupplies gives 10% of the school’s sales back to the school.
As part of the Bloggy Giveaways, we are giving away a sample EZ Supply Pack full of school supplies like construction paper, 3 ring binder, dividers, graph paper, scissors, ruler, pencil box, markers, erasers, and more. (see photo)

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on THIS post telling us your favorite part of back-to-school shopping, least favorite part, or if you have a funny, interesting, or weird back-to-school shopping experience to share, that works, too! You have until midnight on July 31, 2008 to leave a comment and be entered. The winner will be announced Friday, August 1.
Can’t wait to get started on your back-to-school supply shopping? The EZSchoolSupplies team have given us a special discount code so you can save 10% on your school supply order! Go to the area on the EZSchoolSupplies home page that says “Shop for Supplies,” and choose the supplies you want. After all the items are placed in the shopping cart, proceed to checkout. At step 2 of checkout, the coupon discount box is where you will type in the special discount code: EZMB079, (case sensitive) and the discount will be calculated! The code has no expiration date. Their customer service staff is available Monday through Friday if you need any assistance.

I am a student, and I love shopping and picking out cool notebooks. My least favorite is knowing I will soon be back at school.
Lol…. I love back to school shopping because of all the sales but more so because
I reminds me of when I was younger and my mom would take us store to store so that we could find the perfect knapsack and notebooks!
We don’t have the option to purchase these, since we homeschool. But this is a nice giveaway. I would say my favorite part of back to school shopping is shopping when the supplies are on sale and letting my kids pick what they want and not worrying about spending to much money.
My favorite parts, hands down, is the smell of school supplies…crayons and pencils smell fantastic!!! Thanks for the chance to win!
My favorite part is getting in on the good sales! monk5@charter.net
I have no favorite part of back to school shopping; I hate pretty much all shopping!
Well, my boys are just starting preschool this year so I haven’t had to do back to school shopping yet.
But I’m looking forward to finding some great deals!
I love all the deals that they offer. Thanks
I love waiting for the clearance sales *we are homeschoolers, LOL* and going in and snatching up all the lovely markers, crayons and pencils
My favorite part is just the fact that it is a new beginning…with a brand new notebook, pencils and erasers… just the smell of the supplies makes me wish I was back in school again!

I actually love back to school shopping. I’m a teacher myself, and I always get the feeling that September gives the whole family the opportunity for a brand new start….a fresh beginning. It’s a great feeling knowing you have the chance do great things in the upcoming year!
Thanks for the generous giveaway. Who couldn’t use wonderful supplies?
My best part of shopping for school supplies is getting it done!!
my favorite part of shopping in general is finding great deals!
As a teacher, I love back to school shopping because it lets me know that school is right around the corner…which is a little sad too.
my favorite part is having it all over and done with. this year that won’t happen until after openhouse for my son. that should be sometime teh week before school starts. he’s in middle school and they don’t publish a list like the elementary schools do
I love school supply bargains… I hate uniform shopping. Nothing fits right and the stores are just crazy.
My favorite part is stocking up with the great deals. My least favorite part is buying something on the supply list that is difficult to find and the kids never end up using!
My least favorite part is school clothes shopping. Ugh, my soon to be 13 year old is sooo picky. She just HAS to have the coolest and lastest styles of clothes. Lucky for me she’s not so picky about notebooks and folders and such, so I can at least get a little break there.
I love school supplies! I teach 4th grade, and my own kids are not old enough for school yet, so I just love all the good deals!
As a teacher, I still get excited about back-to-school shopping! I get so happy making a pencil box full of goodies for each of my preschoolers. I hate the fact that school supplies are out right after the 4th of July, though…isn’t that a depressing way to celebrate the summer being half-over? At least wait until August, please?
I have two to buy for this year- this would be so great!
ALL of it is my favorite. I LOVE school supplies. I go crazy when shopping for my kids, THEY tell ME to slow down!
Guess what! I am going back to university next September. *Gasp!* I actually can’t wait to shop for school supplies. I don’t care, but I love those copybooks and all the cute supplies.
What? I am old for this stuff? NOOO!
Great prize! I would love to win this. It would really help with our long list of supplies this year that need to be bought. I love back to school shopping, it’s a fun time for me and my kids together and Iam always excited to see which bags and lunch boxes they pick. Thanks for a chance.
I always loved getting new school supplies as a kid, and I’m really looking forward to school supplies for my kids. We are homeschooling our eldest starting this fall, so I am sure we would love this set!
The thing that was the worst for me at school shopping time was – since my mom is a teacher, she would always have a zillion really bad quality really ugly pencils…I always had the worst looking pencils…sometimes with chew marks from other people! YUCK!
Well, I always see the back to school stuff in the stores and want to buy it, but I don’t have anyone in school yet. There’s just something about new pencils, and blank notebooks waiting to be written in. A new year of fresh starts and possibilities. If I win this I have some friends I’ll give it too.
Well, basically I hate back to school shopping because it means my kids are going to be gone all the time – and I’ll become Mom’s taxi service again. But if I HAD to pick a favorite part – I guess it would be clothes shopping with my daughters for their new back to school clothes.
My favorite part is the clothes shopping, my least favorite part is when my daughter is tired and we still have a lot more shopping to do, FOR HER.
We’re fairly new to back to school shopping, but my favorite part is getting those rock bottom prices (5 cents for a box of crayons?)!

My favorite is helping he pick out school supplies. My least favorite is the busy store isles with so many people.
My favorite part of back to school shopping is buying clothes for my son. I love helping him pick out things!
I can not stand the crowds.People will push and shove for the good deals.
I think I love the ‘potential’ of those brand new clean notebooks and shiny new binders … Ready for all that fun and knowledge (hopefully!). Not so sure my children love ‘em as much as I do though
I love shopping for my kids, especially when they want to go eagerly!
I love snagging good deals and stocking up on school supplies and checking out the new trendy items–it is quite reminiscent of my own school days.
My favorite part is finding good clothing deals for my daughter!
I love the great deals you get during the back to school sales
I love school supplies — new pens, pencils, books etc and finding good deals on clothes for the kids!
I homeschool..so the best part is getting only what I want to get! Yeah… =)
My least favorite part is actually trying to find items in stock. The deals end up getting so good that you can’t find the stuff you need. I’ve already experienced that with the folders & notebooks my daughter needs for 6th grade & it isn’t even aug yet, ugh!
Being a teacher, my least favorite part of back to school shopping is that it means my summer at home with my boys is coming to an end.
Thank you!
With the prices of school supplies these days I can certainly use this.
I’ve been looking for this site forever! I could not think of the name of it. I need all the school supply help I can get for 2 boys.
My favorite back to school shopping thing is for sure the clothes shopping even if it’s not for me!
I love shopping for the clothes!
I actually love shopping for school supplies! I love getting great bargains and the supply sales that are held just can’t be beat!
I’m a little nerdy and always liked school supply shopping and getting my backpack all ready with my stuff. Now that I’m a mom I still love to go school supply shopping! Not sure that my kids feel the same way I did, though.
My favorite part of shopping is getting new things. I get tired of the same old stuff and love the freshness of having those new items. I know the kids enjoy the new supplies also.
I love all the bargains that can be found this time of year! (as evidenced by Mommy’s new laptop that’s on the way from Dell! LOL)
Neat! As a homeschooling mom, I have it a little easier with school supplies (like I don’t have to supply some other teacher with kleenex and red pens because I AM the teacher!) but we still need all the basic stuff, too. I love shopping for school supplies but not the actual shopping part – it’s the NEW-ness of the stuff. I’m a weirdo when it comes to new pads of paper and unopened pencils. Breathe it in. Smile.
One of the things I miss about growing up in public school is the back to school shopping for supplies, backpacks, school clothes, etc – so I try to do all the back to school stuff for my kids, too. Even though we just finished one year two weeks earlier and are moving right into the next after a short break. It lets us get in on the excitement, too.
Thanks for the giveaway!
We are just entering the school supply party this year as my son enters Kindergarten. I have been watching sales and stocking up as we go along, because his school doesn’t give the lists until the first day of school so we have NO IDEA what he will actually need. I figure they don’t expire, so I just stock up on all the good deals as I see them;) Thanks!
