Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival ButtonUPDATED WITH WINNER – The winner is Elizabeth F. from The Whole Family.

WearyParent is participating in the mega-giveaway carnival at Bloggy Giveaways this week. With the return to school looming right around the corner, it is just about time to start shopping for school supplies.  With three kids in different grades and schools, I have often wished I could just hand the teacher a check and have them hand my child all the school supplies needed for the year. Just think of the money and time you could save. EZSchoolSupplies.com has been reading Moms’ minds!!

EZSchoolSupplies.com is a one stop shop for school supplies. Schools and teachers can register their supply lists with EZSchoolSupplies and then time-crunched Moms like me can look up the school/teacher, chose the appropriate school supply pack, and the supplies will arrive in the mail. No driving all over town or waiting in lines. And the school can benefi, too, because EZSchoolSupplies gives 10% of the school’s sales back to the school.

As part of the Bloggy Giveaways, we are giving away a sample EZ Supply Pack full of school supplies like construction paper, 3 ring binder, dividers, graph paper, scissors, ruler, pencil box, markers, erasers, and more. (see photo)

What a great idea! My favorite part is finding really great sales. My least favorite parts are the crowds and taking the list of suggested items the school sends home, buying the stuff, sending it in to school only to have half of it sent back home. They should update their lists!

  2. Shelly says:

I love when the stores start all of the sales and I can get supplies REALLY cheap!

  3. Smellyann says:

I LOVE back to school shopping! I adore all the new supplies. Going over them with the kids is so much fun. I still get giddy and excited! Great giveaway! Thanks, I hope I win! Stop by and enter mine, too!

  4. Fedora says:

Oh how fun! We’ve been doing some school supply shopping to fill some extra backpacks for kids who can’t afford new ones, and our kids have been having a blast helping to pick supplies out for other kids. Thanks for the giveaway!

  5. Diana says:

Well, I’m new to this, first year for us but so far, it’s been the incredibly excited look on my daughters face when she’s looking at all of the school stuff! So cute!

  6. Kristen says:

    Thanks, this is great!

We homeschool, but obviously, we still need school supplies. These would work just fine for us. What I like about school shopping is the fact that I can come school shopping before the public/private school crowds or after because my girls are home and there is no deadline. I usually stock up and keep a supply closet at home so that I’m not in the packed aisles at the store. I hate that, and most of the time, there is some weird supply on the teacher list that you can’t find anyway, and it’s frustrating. On homeschool mommy/teacher’s list, I know what I need for them, and I know what I’m looking for. No frustration. It’s been great to be back homeschooling again. That’s my story. Thanks for the chance to win.

  8. Stephanie says:

This is easy for me. I’m a teacher in a Title 1 school. I buy supplies for 30 kids! I LOVE B2S shopping because I get to buy all the supplies for my class.

  9. Mechelle says:

I love back to school shopping because it always reminds me how much I used to love school. It was always so exciting getting pick out that special notebook or folder.
The only thing I hate now is that my daughters school waits so long to post the list of needed supplies so we have to scrounge around at the last minute.

  10. Shay says:

The best thing about back to school shopping is that I get a stippen from my school to shop with!

  11. Rebecca says:

I LOVED getting new school supplies as a kid. There’s nothing like a new box of crayons. I HATE the crowded back to school aisles at Walmart!! What a creative prize! Thanks for the opportunity to win!!

  12. Amity says:

My favorite part about back to school shopping is the new fresh and crisp school supplies..I am quite obsessed actually..hehe.

  13. Karen says:

My least favorite part of back-to school shopping is trying to decipher the supply list. I mean, just what in the world is a “Spacesaver box”????

  14. Chrysa says:

I like seeing the new products that are out each year for back-to-school.

  15. Ohhhh… I know some boybarians that would go gaga over something like this in the mail.

Thanks for this give-away! Hope I win. :)

  16. Count me in. School will be back in session befoe you know it!

  17. Tonya says:

My daughter is starting Kindergarten this year so I don’t have many experiances. I love taking her to pick out the little things she likes ( I always liked picking out my folders and stuff with the cute designs) So far my least favorite is not getting a school supply list untilt he first week of school! Im a planner and would like to have it done!

  18. Stacy says:

I just love how excite kids can get about going back to school when they can get nifty new supplies.

  19. Heidi says:

My favorite part of school shopping is watching the kiddos get all excited about what they want to buy to wear. The least favorite: Spending the money of course!

  20. Ann says:

what a great idea. my oldest is only 4 1/2 so I haven’t had to officially go school supply shopping yet. But that doesn’t mean I don’t make up an exscuse to go. Just today I was at Office Depot checking out all there great deals on school supplies. I know next year this will come in handy.

  21. Alyce says:

I get excited about school shopping because it brings back memories of how enthusiastic I was as a kid to start each new school year.

  22. Heather says:

I love snagging all the bargains I can as I homeschool my kids. The crayons and markers ect – also make great last minute gifts when your child is unexpectely invited to a birthday party!

  23. Kathleen says:

I’ve always loved back-to-school shopping for all the pens and pencils and crayons and paper and erasers and markers and EVERYTHING. When I was a kid, my favorite stores were office supply store. I guess probably it would have really been art stores, but my mom managed an office, not an art school, so I made do with what I had available to me. :)

Of course, then I didn’t want to USE any of it…

  24. Janice J says:

My least favorite part of back to school shopping is the cost, with 4 kids to buy for it does get expensive. I try to buy a few things each week in the summer, things I think they will need.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  25. Redneck Diva says:

School supplies are expensive! I LOVE the idea of getting supplies shipped right to me!

  26. Jessica C says:

I love how the stores lower prices for a week or two I grabbed so many 5 cent notebooks we should be good on that all year.

  27. Lisa Sharp says:

My least favorite is the lack of eco-friendly items. I don’t buy them for my kids as I don’t have any but my husband just got a job as a teacher in a small school so I’m sure he can find a kid that really needs supplies!

  28. My favorite part is buying new crayons. I usually tuck in an extra box for myself. I just love fresh new crayons.

  29. michelle b. says:

Well my kids are homeschooled but I love buy school supplies at really cheap prices.

  30. misty says:

Fave part – who doesn’t like new things? Least favorite – the cost. Thanks so much for the opportunity.

  31. Lucie says:

I love back-to-school shopping the first three times or so. After going back again and again and not finding what we need, that’s when it gets frustrating. For the most part it is a fun time to spend individual time with my children – and having 4 that is so important.

Please enter me in this contest! Thank you.

    Blessings,
    Lucie

  32. melissa c says:

favorite part is getting a new planner for the year and worst has to be the how much money it can cost

  33. Caryn B says:

Least favorite part…the expense…favorite part? Shopping for new items…

  34. Michelle says:

My favorite part of shopping is seeing the new styles.

  35. Jaime C. says:

The best thing about back to school shopping is the fashion show the kids put on after they get all their new clothes!

  36. Molly Capel says:

My fave part of school shopping is stocking up on CHEAP essentials- crayons, pencils & paper.

I dislike looking for backpacks, though. It is hard to please the 4 of my 5 boys that are in school.

  37. Kim says:

It’s funny but even though we “Homeschool” we still get VERY excited about walking down the school supply aisle and smelling the erasers and touching the rulers and getting a new box of crayons. Okay I”ll stop I’m starting to get excited again. It was my favorite part of school growing up lol. That and picking out your new lunch pale. With 3 kids homeschooling we would gladly take that off your hands lol. Count me in!
    blessings,
    Kim

  38. Sweetpeas says:

We homeschool, but I still make sure to take advantage of the sales & stock up on stuff we’ll need during the year. I always love me a good bargain!

  39. Sonya says:

My favorite part: new backpacks (when needed, those Lands End and LLBean packs last forever!)

Least favorite: specific needs (like: graphing composition notebook )

  40. Leah says:

We homeschool, but I LOVE shopping for school supplies. I take advantage of this time of the year to stock up on lots of goodies. I love seeing fresh new notebooks and pencils and crayons in nice clean pencil boxes. :-)

I do NOT like getting in the crowd to dig through bins for the bargain stuff!

  41. Nessa says:

My favorite part of back to school shopping is shopping for supplies. I get giddy around freshly sharpened pencil, lol. I love organizational supplies, so folders, boxes, binders they are all kinda my thing.

My least favorite part is school CLOTHES shopping. Ick! Makes me sad just typing about it. My son thinks his butt looks big in everything and my daughter wants to be a nudist. It makes for quite an experience trying to clothes shop with them.

  42. Richelle F says:

I’ve always loved getting new school supplies. There is just something about a fresh notebook and new pencils!

  43. Liz says:

I love back to school clothes shopping. It’s the expense I don’t like.

I love the Staples commercial that comes on this time of year with the father going through the store happily collecting school supplies and singing . . . “it’s the most wonderful time of the year . . .” :)

Thanks for such a great giveaway! :)

  45. Piseco says:

I don’t have a funny story… but we do always stock up on notebooks to last us the year, and sometimes longer!

  46. Angie says:

My least fav. part is when there is that one obscure item that you just can’t find. Like a plastic 3 brad folder in BLUE, it’s gotta be blue and you can find every color of the rainbow but blue!

Love it! I’d love to be entered!

    Thanks,
    Angie

  47. Kimberly says:

My favorite part is that all of our schools have finally gone to uniforms (yea!). My least favorite part is that the schools always publish the school supply list and I try to get a head start but then each individual teacher has their own list (completely different, of course!).
Thanks for the chance to win your great giveaway!

  48. Gretchen H says:

We homeschool and this is right up our alley. I hope we win.

    Have a bloggy day

  49. Colleen says:

My favorite part is lining up all the pencils and notebooks, everything fresh and new. Yes, I’m a dork, but I still love the smell of new books! Hope you have a great week!

  50. I haven’t done back-to-school shopping for some time, but may have to this year for the grandchildren since my daughter is very ill. This will bring back memories of the thrill of school shopping in my childhood. My sister and I always got new “back-to-school” dresses. (Yes, girls HAD to wear skirts and dresses in those days, not pants, jeans or shorts.)
