I love making fabric jewelry. It’s a great stash-buster, and you’re pretty much guaranteed to end up with a piece of jewelry that no one else will have.
Does your mom wear jewelry? Why not make her a unique piece of jewelry for Mother’s Day?
Here are a few of my favorite fabric jewelry tutorials

- I used fabric to cover wooden beads.
- Girl Gone Thread has a great idea for using up all those little fabric trimmings that seem to accumulate.
- Self-covered buttons can make great earrings.
- Go bold with two different tutorials for making chunky fabric necklaces.

hi. i am trying to cover a wooden sphere ball with fabric. i want each individual bead in my necklace to be different. i have tried and tried this over and over again. i believe that i need to do a strip on the bias but can’t work out how. i also need to leave enough room in the middle of the bead to thread a ribbon through so can’t stuff too much fabric down there. i also believe that the edges need to be curved so there is not too much fabric over lapping. is there a shape/pattern i should be using.can you please help me ????
