Fake Eyelashes

In an attempt to teach my daughter to be a little cynical when faced with unrealistic advertising I pointed out a mascara commercial.
The commercial was for Loreal Volume Shocking Mascara and the model was obviously wearing false eyelashes.
There is no way those are her real eyelashes, Ainsley. They put false ones on for the commercial so we would want to buy that mascara, I told her with sage wisdom.
A few weeks later, I was needing a new tube of mascara and decided to spend more than I normally would since my eyelashes seemed to be falling out. I bought the Loreal Volume Shocking Mascara to see if it worked.
Mom! You’re using the fake eyelashes!
Yeah, I know. Not only did I fall for the advertising, but I’m simply thrilled with its results!
The first step is with a traditional wand, coating the lash with all kinds of fatness and length. The second step is a comb, to apply the color without stripping off the fattening first coat. It doesn’t pull out my lashes or drip down my face through the day.
Try it, you’ll love it.

I’ve got no eyelashes (well, you just can’t really see them) and I haven’t been satisfied with any of the mascaras I’ve tried. Your post says to me I’ll be trying this one next. Thanks!
