Family Fun: Wine & Otherwise
Just a note to say Mom and JT arrived just fine, though a little late. Since then, they came to see me at Rosenblum for a tasting and tour, we went to a birthday celebration at Lone Oak vineyard, and rode BART into San Francisco to stroll through Golden Gate Park’s Conservatory of Flowers, watch Hairspray at the Orpheum, and eat seafood at Fisherman’s Wharf. Today I’ll introduce them to Trader Joe’s and the store I know my mom will love: Cost Plus World Market. Some wine has been had, and there will definitely be more. Maybe I’ll remember to take notes so I can share.
p.s. I have a feeling I’m not going to make it for this round of Wine Book Club.

Hurray, look at your people! Sounds liek you have really planned out an amazing trip for them Farley. They will have a blast.
We did have a really FUN time with you and BK ( and of course; Charlie, Cailey and the elusive Iggie – well …. scratch what we saw of Iggie). And here I thought it was only southern hospitality that was so abundant… CA hangs with the best of it. EVERYONE was so sweet and welcoming!!!
