Easter is just around the corner, so why not have some fun and make your own Easter baskets out of fabric?

Here are a few fantastic ideas for making your own Easter baskets out of fabric – don’t forget tobe creative and have fun with it :-)

  • Moda Bake Shop has a fantastic tutorial, using pre-cut fabric strips and drapery piping to make a coiled basket.  You can also cut your own strips of fabric instead of buying them pre-cut.
  • Small Fry & Co have created a how-to using heavy fabric stabilizer to make a little Easter “bucket”.
  • The Crafty Yarn Council has a pattern to make crocheted baskets with yarn, but substitute fabric strips and you’ve got an awesome stash-busting basket!
  • Want something to fill your Easter basket with?  Retro Mama has designed some adorable fabric eggs!

Homemade baskets are so much nicer for Easter. Once you make them you can keep them from year to year!
