Favorite Herbs~ Fresh Cilantro

One of my favorite kitchen garden herbs is cilantro. I love to use fresh cilantro on Spring salads, fresh garden salsa, tacos, dips and many other dishes. During the winter I always have at least one bunch of cilantro in the refrigerator to pull out and add to recipes.
My favorite cilantro is fresh from the garden. I love to walk out in the garden and grab a handful of leaves just to smell their fresh scent.
Every year I let a few cilantro plants go to seed so it reseeds itself for the next year. I’ve had cilantro coming up in my garden for 10 years now. I usually plant another bunch or two through the summer in my vegetable garden.
Those self seeded plants in my kitchen garden give me my first taste of fresh cilantro from the garden about this time of year, every year.
