February 14 is National Donor Day

Ok – not a pain post. But organ donation is something that I feel needs more awareness and more attention.
On this day of valentines and hearts, take a moment to think of those people who are dying because they need an organ donation and they can’t get one.
For those of you who have signed your organ donation cards and made your wishes known to your families, I applaud you and thank you for your foresight and generosity.
For those of you sitting on the fence about organ donation, get off that fence! Please consider becoming a donor. You can save and improve so many lives after you die.
For those of you who have decided against organ donation, beg you to reconsider and to learn more about how donations are done and the need for it.
