Feedback Friday: Do Your Pets Sleep With You?

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Feedback Friday, and one of my cats inspired this one: Turbo likes to plant himself right next to me at night, rarely moving or allowing me to either!
I’ve never minded cats on the bed with me, I grew up with them and always had them around and liked having their company at night too. Dogs, on the other hand, I don’t like having on the bed. The dogs we had while I was growing up lived outside (or in the garage during winter), and I knew what they liked to dig around and play in, so having them up on the bed seemed like a pretty gross situation!
Our dogs now live indoors (except when nature calls or they need some sun) and we’re able to better manage their cleanliness levels, but I’m still not comfortable with them having free run of the house while we sleep (and I’m sure the cats wouldn’t appreciate it either!). They’re crated at night and always have been so they don’t know any different, and after reading an article about it we’re sure it’s been the right decision for us!
So tell me, do your pets sleep with you at night?

Pearl is crated at night (as well as any time she can’t be supervised, such as when I’m getting the kids into bed or taking a shower) and I think she always will be, it’s just the best thing for us.
Technically I would let Cricket the cat sleep on the bed but she wouldn’t want to. She prefers to sleep behind or under things, particularly behind the washing machine, weirdo that she is.
Our dogs both sleep in a crate (together). I’ve tried letting them sleep out of it but they drive me crazy wiggling around all night, and I worry about what they might be getting in to.
We have two dogs and two birds. Only one dog sleeps with us, the other is crated. The birds, of course, are in their cages.
Daisy is my little princess, and my spaceheater… Very nice to snuggle with when it’s -14 in the morning.
My husband and I have two labs that sleep with us. (Yeah, I know they are big.) They are inside dogs and clean, so I don’t mind them in the bed. I do hate it when they stretch out and get into my space though.
I have an English Pointer that goes to bed with my daughter but at some point she gets off the bed and sleeps on the couch. She doesn’t liked to be covered up so getting under the covers is not a problem.
