ferret

2 apples
1/2 c. ferret pellets
peanut butter (optional)

Grind the ferret pellets or crush them with the back of a spoon. Use a little water to soften the food to make it mushy, but not to watery. Mix in some peanut butter, be sure not to add to much. Peel the apples and chop them into tiny pieces. Mix the apples in with other ingredients and serve!

Any recipe that contains fruit is not a good recipe for ferrets, especially one with chopped fruit. Ferrets are carnivores and cannot digest fruits and vegetables. Because of this, they can end up with a very dangerous and life threatening blockage. There are “people” foods that are safe to give like cooked egg or chicken. Info on ferret nutrition can be found at http://www.everythingferret.com as well as many other ferret information sites offered by ferret shelters and ferret clubs.
