Fetus’s Genes Influence Pregnant Mother’s Cholesterol Levels

The fetus exerts a strong influence on a pregnant woman’s physiology and psychology. Latest research shows that a fetus’s genes can even affect the mother’s cholesterol levels. Elevated cholesterol is associated with an increased risk of pre-eclampsia along with positive family history.

In a study of 525 pregnant women, researchers in Belgium found the following:

  1. I didn’t knew the little baby and mother were so connected. Ok yes they are (physical) but i could have never thought about this.
