Thanks for your comment Kira. I've only read/heard positive feedback about this book. Looks like I must get my hands on it now. ;-)

I recently picked up this book and enjoyed not only the art of the collages inside, but the story itself. :) It gave a little hope to a writer/visual journalist like myself...that my two loves could come together and become a book!

Thanks for this Gray. I knew there were more books like this, but couldn't for the life of me recall the titles or authors. Thanks again. ;-)

My favorite author of this genre is Nick Bantock, who I think mastered it long ago with his "Griffine & Sabine" trilogy. "The Venetian's Wife" is also a good one. Brian Froud also did something along these lines with "Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book", and there's a whole series of "-ology" books for Young Adults (Dragonology, Piratology, etc) that are similar to this genre.

Personally, I'm in awe of the amount of cross-disciplinary skill it takes to do this.
