I did several mixed media and collages this year-one of my favorite was a Raven: http://evidenceofanartisticlife.blogspot.com/2008/05/quoth-raven-nevermore.html
Also did a fair amount of fabric work which I really enjoyed as well!

Who would I give the prize to if I won???
    I wouldn’t-I’d keep it.
Can’t say I have a favorite craft project, but I’ve done some fun ones: painted snake gourds with my grandchildren; star-shaped Christmas ornaments from old barbed wire; fabric wallhanging for a granddaughter.

  3. My favorite craft project would be sewing right now – i have made several sewn gifts for friends and love it!

  4. Diane says:

My favorite project that I have been working on is sewing quilts for my three kids for Christmas. If I won this I would probably keep it for myself. It would be great!
    Have a Blessed Day,
    Diane

My favorite craft project of this year is a pair of frames that I made for photos of my favorite kiddos Alec and Hannah. I used Love, Elsie scrapbook supplies and decoupaged a wood frame and attached a monogram letter to each.

I especially would love to win the Altered You book because I plan on doing an altered art project with my high school art kids next semester. I have a couple books on the subject but more is better.

    thanks

Right now I’m making ornaments for the gardeners in the family by glueing (flour and water) seeds between tissue paper and inserting them into homemade plant stakes. I’ve also made towel turbans to wrap your hair in after showering.

  7. Marlys says:

My favorite craft this year has been making various bags & organizers out of recycled denim jeans, overalls & skirts & embellishing them with all sorts of found objects.

  8. Barb says:

Oooh, it’s hard to pick a favorite craft project of the year. I’d have to say it’s been working with copper pipe – the kind meant for refrigerators – and turning it onto gorgeous jewelry. :D

  9. Lisa says:

I’ll give it to my mom, she is a craft JUNKIE! :)

  10. linda says:

I made a lot of tote bags this year. I like using different materials and fabrics. I’d love to win a copy of Alter you.

  11. Ginny says:

My favorite craft projects are scrapbooking usually. I want to make some plushies out of old clothes though, so that will easily be a new fav!

  12. Trisha says:

I have been working a lot with marbles this year. There are so many things you can do with them. And felt….hand sewing felt card cases and such. They are funky and fun!

I would share these goodies with my sister and my friend jen who are crafty ladies like me!

  13. Linette says:

I’ve been playing around with beading a little this year, and card making. Not sure which has been my favorite:-) Maybe I should make some cards with beads on them.
