Finally, a Home Made Electronics Sleeve That Looks Like Someone Put Some Time Into It!

In my time as the author of this blog, I’ve seen many, many, many do-it-yourself electronics protection/carrying devices. Today I’m going to do what I thought I would never do: feature one of them.
I’ll be honest, I thought I’d never see one that didn’t look like someone rolled their Xbox or laptop up in an old pair of jeans (or any number of other strange articles of clothing).
The above laptop sleeve is one I gleaned from the web via the Lifehack Blog. (a blog is highly worth a visit, by the way). Their post titled Make a slick notebook sleeve from an old wetsuit is where the inspiration for my post (and the picture) came from.
Here is what the Lifehack blog has to say about this interesting creation:
The how to details are a little sketchy, but the results of this DIY speak for themselves – it’s a pretty slick looking laptop sleeve made from an old wetsuit.
Creator Alex says you can use any old neoprene wetsuit, as long as the piece of fabric which covers your back is big enough to fold over the laptop.
For the original post, the one where Alex tells you how to make the sleeve, try his personal blog and the post: Neoprene Macbook Sleeve. (Alex seems to give credit to his mother for the sewing job on the Macbook sleeve. Props to him for giving the project to a professional!)
Alex, made this sleeve from an old neoprene wet-suit. In fact, I’ll close this post by saying that this is the best homemade sleeve I’ve ever seen.
