Finding a New Doctor

Do you like your doctor? Many people don’t, and just put up with things like tardiness and rude behavior. I found this article and thought the suggestions they offer in how to find a doctor you like are spot on.

One of the points, search them out on the Internet, is a very good idea. A few years ago I had a doctor that I didn’t really like, but just went to because you know how you get in a rut? Well she moved offices and I did an Internet search on her to find her new address… lo’ and behold I found two court cases against her for negligence. Turns out one of the things someone was suing her for was a problem I kept having and she kept telling me “was nothing.”

I quickly changed doctors, but her negligence was long lasting.

The thing is, we don’t need to settle for incompetent, rude, or idiotic doctors. And they exist. So do good ones. Do your best to find one who knows what he or she is doing while still providing great care.
