Eco-Panda swimwear one of the first earth-friendly lines of swimwear and their pieces are made from recycled nylon (pdf) and Xtra Life Lycra. Not only are these recycled but lycra insures the suits last 3 times longer than typical swimwear. Eco-Panda also jumped on this bandwagon early, and currently holds the exclusive rights to recycled nylon in America US, which pretty much makes competition a moot point.

Other Eco-Panda green perks include:

  • Factory Production Process: Eco-Panda is currently developing a qualification checklist to ensure that their factories and offices are following proper recycling practices.
  • Packaging supplies and shipping crates are inspected to ensure minimum materials used and maximum sustainability.
