Fitness Rules We Need to Break

I’m obsessed with these MSN Fitness Rules You Should Break. Finally some of my most frustrating questions have been solved, and that includes protein snacking, specific shoulder-width rules, and the mystery of squats.

My favorite one? The one about getting a flat belly! MSN pointed out that pilates moves will keep your body toned and tight, and are even 266 percent more effective on your external obliques (love handles).

The most obvious? Don’t weigh yourself every day. It’s a bad habit that you need to break, and it’s not half as motivating as you might imagine!

    Great article–I know a fair bit about fitness but there were things in here that either I didn’t know or that were said in such an easy way that they finally sunk in-such as the weight training over the cardio. However I do think that it is important to exercise your heart still for health as well as weight loss. Really we should be building muscle and endurance.
