Five Little Monkeys Bumpin’ Their Heads

When I was little I used to sing the song “Five Little Monkeys” all the time. It was one of the first ones that I sang to AJ and one of the only books ( Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed (Board Book) that traveled to Russia and back with us. He loved it and would open the book to look at the pictures all the time. Soon, I caught him humming the words to the song and I knew he was hooked.

The first time I heard him actually sing the song was at a local Scarecrow festival. There was an entire scarecrow exhibit made to look like five monkeys jumping on a bed and he looked at me and burst into song. His favorite part was that he got to smack his own head with his hand.

Recently I found that there is an entire series of Monkeys! How smart is that?
