Flat screen TVs = neck pain?

Do you enjoy your flat screen television? Does it have a prominent place on your wall? Have you developed unexplained neck pain since you bought your TV?

According to this article, which discusses many causes of neck pain, Why flat-screen TVs are dangerous but frozen peas are a cooling treat, flat screen TVs that are placed too high on the wall and chairs that aren’t meant for that type of television watching are contributing to an increase of neck pain.

  1. Thanks for this link. I have arthritis in my neck adn am considering buying a flat screen tv. I have a lot to consider.

    Interesting article on neck pain. I spend a lot of time in front of a computer and get neck pain at times. Would be interested in learning more about exactly how to angle the monitor.
