flightableluggage.jpgWhat do you think about this item? If you travel a lot and carry your laptop on every trip you take, you might want to consider this. It’s the Flightable Computer Pac C1000.

Basically it’s a wheeled carry-on with an attached table. It serves 2 purposes: roomy luggage space for your clothes and a handy plastic table for times when you need to work-on-the-go.

How does it work you ask? Well, you unlatch the table, extend it from the case which then opens the collaspable leg and each piece locks into place. When it’s time to put it away, it does so with one push of a button.

This is all second hand information, so I am not sure if it works quite as easily as they say it does, but if I traveled a lot, I would definitely be willing to give this a try. I have seen a few in use at airports before but decided not to stop and asked if they like it or not. Next time I think I will ask. I guess the worse that could happen is they tell me to get lost!

I did a little reading and found one person who said that because of the table, it is a little heavier than your average carry on. I also read that it actually is a breeze to set up and that the table was much more sturdy than they thought it would be.

I also did a little searching around for one to purchase and Amazon was all out. Come to find out, a lot of companies that sell it are out. I found one on a Craigs List and Ebay. Go figure. :)

If you are looking for a suitcase that could help you be more efficient on your travels, the I think this one is worth a shot.

What are your first impressions?
