Flood Protection Week!

With the recent storms blasting there way through Canada and the US and homes being flooded left and right I have decided that maybe I should spend a few days talking about flood protection seeings how I am a plumber and all and have lived through the flood of the century here in Winnipeg Manitoba where I live.
There are a few simple systems a home owner can use to prevent sewer and rain water from flooding there basements and below are a few methods I have installed way to many times that work very well.
- Floor drain protection
- Sump pumps
- Landscaping
Today I am not going to get into each one of those topics simply because I would be almost witting a book. So instead I am going to write a post on each one of those topics or methods of protecting your basement starting tomorrow.
