Flying On Solar Wings

Well, not exactly an airplane which would be having solar panels on its wings. It’s not exactly that. I am talking about an airplane which actually uses solar power to fly. Now, that would be really something to experience. And I surely would be going for this kind of plane because the prices of fuel have surely gone up and with solar power being used in this plane, I’m thinking that maybe the fares would be pretty cheap.

In this report, it has been disclosed that Trina Solar Ltd. Would be the company which would be providing the photovoltaic cells which would be used on the solar airplane. Trina Solar is a maker of solar cells and around 300 of these solar cells would be used on the solar plane which is known as the Hy-Bird. This plane flies under LISA Airplanes of France.

The solar panels would be found not only on the wings of the airplane. They would also be located on the tail.
