The Food Network/ SOBE Food and Wine Festival of 2008 hits Miami this weekend. For those of you lucky to attend…I envy you.
The weather should be great this weekend, little rain, mild temperatures, beaches, parties, celebrity chefs, oh yes…and food and wine.

Giada, Tyler, Jamie and Paula joined the Today Show gang and shared some Miami inspired grub. For some of you facing frigid temperatures, the thought of a citrus salad or watermelon margarita may seem a light year away. But if you want some summer inspiration read more recipes and Miami inspired drinks.
Salad sounds good to me no matter time of year…I’m going to try the Fregola salad with fresh citrus and red onion!
Bobby Flay is an idiot. We just saw him yesterday at the South Beach Food & Wine Festival and he was not approachable at all like other chefs, I don’t really know who he thinks he is but I will not watch him anymore and will tell my friends and everybody that I know to stop watching his programs. He pretends to be very nice but he is NOT AT ALL!!
Yes…the salads looked great..I am in Florida, so it is always a great time for citrusy salads.
I hope that Flay isn’t always like that! Maybe he just was having a really bad day.
