Foods That Taste Like They’re Bad For You

Everyone has bad habits. . . and vices. While I love food and trying out new candies (*ahem*), I do try to stick to what’s good. Fortunately, there are a few foods that feel so bad when you’re eating them, but are good for you in small doses.
Here’s what I eat when I want to nosh, but I just can’t throw caution to the winds:
1. A drizzle of olive oil for my Omega-3s (great on salad)
2. Low-fat Greek yogurt (all-Natural yogurt is so much better than something filled with aspartame and cornstarch)
3. Herbs de Provence (makes everything taste better)
4. Macadamia nuts (for mono-unsaturated fats)
5. A square of super-tasty Hershey Special Dark Sao Tome (70%!)
6. Baked beans, Boston-style (hello, fiber)
7. Skim milk with ovaltine (I have to fight back the urge to add something like whipped cream, marshmallows, and/or sprinkles)
Do you have a secret food like that?

Great list, Meieli. Mmm.. macadamia nuts!
Out of all the above, I like yogurt the most! Super-creamy Greek yogurt is sooo good.
