Foot pain causes a lot more than just discomfort – any podiatrists out there?

Have you ever had a really sore foot? One that kept you from doing what you want to do?
Many people develop foot pain over the years, for various reasons. Pain can be caused by accidents, arthritis, bunions, fallen arches, even nerve damage from diseases like diabetes, as well as many other causes. When we’re young, we can often shake off the pain and still manage to go about our lives; but as people age, having a sore foot can be more than an inconvenience, it can be life altering.
Imagine not being able to get out of your house because it hurts to walk or even just to put on shoes. Imagine pain so intense in your feet that you can’t sleep. It’s not a pretty picture.
I wonder if anyone reading this blog is either a podiatrist or knows one well enough to ask if he or she would like to talk about foot pain in this blog. I think it would be a real eye-opener for some people.

my both the legs foot bottom and sides are paining.intially pain was less but iit is increasing day by day.it started 18 months beofre and now it is more.when i ware a shoes and walk it is paining.i am not able to walk now.please suggest me solution as soon as posible.

The pain in your feet sounds very unpleasant. Unfortunately, I cannot offer you any advice. I am not a doctor nor a foot specialist.
I hope you are able to find some relief.
I can walk on my foot it hurt so bad I can go to work I have been to the dr they tell me it take time But i get that i can;t sleep at night can some one help me out

I have had plantar fasciitis for years now. It causes a sharp pain at the bottom of my foot. I can usually keep the pain under control by stretching it. I also use a night split which slightly stretches my foot as I sleep. I got mine at http://www.vitalitymedical.com. Hope this helps.
