It’s not a good time if you’re a quarterback in the NFL: they claim 3 of the 4 injuries reported here.
New England Patriot quarterback Tom Brady has injured his left knee during a game against the Kansas City Chiefs. (Brady’s season over after injuring knee vs. Chiefs) It isn’t known yet how serious the injury is.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith has joined the injured as he re-hurt his already injured and previously repaired right shoulder. The surgery was dong this past December. (Niners QB Smith doubtful; Hill to back up Sullivan vs. Cards) This injury may be season ending for Smith too: Niners QB Smith’s injury might be season-ending.
Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber injured his rib cartilage but is expected to play after using pain-killing injections.
Tennessee Titan quarterback Vince Young has injured his left knee and may miss 2-4 weeks of play. The injury is a reported torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee. (Titans’ Young could miss two to four weeks with knee injury)
