For better or worse…

cookbookma.jpgOkay, so, apparently this isn’t hot off the presses, but this is the first that I’ve heard of Jessica Seinfeld, wife of Jerry Seinfeld, being accused of plagiarism in regard to her “sneak the veggies in the kids’ food” cookbook (the author of a similar cookbook is Missy Chase Lapine).

cookbook2ma.jpgI’ve never had to publicly defend Bald Man in relation to any legal issues. Shocker, I know. We seem like such trouble-makers. But seeing Jerry standing up for his wife and her side of the issue (on Letterman’s show) has made me wonder what will be the oddest thing that I will ever have to defend Bald Man for (I hate ending sentences with a preposition, but I’m too brain-dead to fix it right now. :P ).

How about you? Have you found yourself uttering any bizarre phrases based on a situation that your spouse has found him/herself in?

I’ve been convinced the whole time that Jessica must have plagerized me because I’ve been throwing spinach and other veggies into “unvegetable” dishes the whole time. It’s a tip I got from my mother. Throwing sugar into vegetable dishes is a secret I learned from my grandma. I don’t do it, but I know it works.

I have to say – One of the ways I know my husband loves me is that he will defend me when outsiders (even others he loves) criticize.

Good for Jerry standing up for Jessica.

Plagerizing a cook book would be like saying no one could print a roll recipe that includes “flour” wouldn’t it?

Tracee: I’ve tried throwing some peas in with the Mac ‘n’ Cheese. The kids will eat it, but they’re not all that pleased with it. Too obvious, I think! From what I read (on the Internet, so it must be true :P ) was that about 15 of the recipes were identical. Who knows. But it is nice to have someone by your side to help you fight your battles!
