During the 2007 North American International Auto Show, the Ford Motor Company showed off one of its newest concept vehicles – the Ford Airstream. This vehicle has been created to be a crossover with a futuristic design. Plus, the concept vehicle is actually a plug-in hydrogen fuel cell concept automobile that makes use of the company’s hybrid fuel cell system called the HySeries Drive.

The Ford Airstream is going to be one of the vehicles that is going to help up clean the environment. You see, for power, the vehicle just does not use the fuel cell but it also runs on clean power from lithium-ion batteries. Just charge the batteries by plugging them to your standard electricity socket and recharging starts up.

If the Ford Airstream uses pure electricity, it can reach up to 25 miles. And when it runs low on electricity, it is them time for the fuel cell battery to start its dueites and recharge the lithium-ion batteries.
