Four Snow Day Structures

I’m stuck in what appears to be the biggest freak storm to hit Portland, Oregon in a long time; we almost never get pre-Christmas snow. Winter is very on my mind. Well that and the fact that my poor car is stuck at the bottom of my hill. I ran out of coffee today (NOT OK) so I braved the drive to the store. It was all mostly good until I got home. I live at the top of a hill and my car was like, “Um no missy – no way am I getting up the hill.” Sucks for me. Still, I figured to make this somewhat postivie, I’d gather up some snowy structures.

Above is an image of a spooky snowy house snow globe from Creepy Snowballs, via The Contaminated, a post that gathers up the weirdest of the weird in snow globes. Some wacky stuff – go see.

To die for ice sculpture via Crooked Brain. More to see!

Are you flipping kidding me!? How long do you think this house of snow took to make? It takes me two hours to build a small snowman. Holy. Via here.

Ice Hotel via classic Offbeat.

Stay tuned, if my power stays on, I’m going to try to review some cool house software – HGTV Home & Landscape Platinum Suite and then I’ll post the 411.
