Today is Friday and that means it’s Freaky Friday. If you need to know more about this journal writing challenge please read the First Freaky Friday entry.
While I was in highschool I really struggled with fitting in with the in crowd. I was the kind of kid who scored high marks and didn’t find any of the work too difficult. But being smart was never cool, so I tried not to let on how clever I really was. Since growing up, marrying, having kids and getting hooked up/on to the internet, I’ve realised I am a nerd and am actually pretty proud of it these days.
So, in honour of releasing my inner nerd/geek/egghead I decided to challenge you to write a journal entry about yourself in highschool as the nerd you should’ve let yourself be. How different would your life have been if you’d let that nerd out a lot earlier?
