Freaky Friday #125

Although today is not Friday I am writing this for the Freaky Friday journal writing challenge as I haven’t been able to turn on my mother’s computer. My brother visited tonight and has it working fine again. Phew! If you need to know more about this journal writing challenge please read the First Freaky Friday entry.

Since visiting the Gold Coast again I’ve had a chance to do just a little driving. The roads and landmarks have all changed so much, yet so much is still the same. The last time I was driving these streets was on another visit, some 17 and a half years ago. Have you have a similar experience?

Imagine you are driving the streets of your home town or the place you live now some 20 years or so in the future. Write about the changes you see. Write about the new roads and buildings. This is an excursion into your imagination, so have fun with this idea. How do you feel as you drive, or walk, these streets? Have these changes left you feeling lost? What things are the same?
