Freaky Friday #52

It’s Freaky Friday again. If you need to know more about this journal writing challenge please read the First Freaky Friday entry.

I read this news story today about Bono receiving an honorary British knighthood. Bono is known for his humanitarian work to alleviate poverty. This made me wonder how it would feel to have enough money to really make your mark in similar work.

Spend some time writing in your journal today expressing what you would do, not for yourself, but for others, if you were suddenly endowed with a never-ending stream of material wealth. Be Bono for the day, or whichever celebrity you know who is benevolent towards the poor and downtrodden. Don’t generalise. Make specific statements, or a list, on what you would do to effect change.

Do you realize: 52 Freaky Friday entries – 1 entry per week – 52 weeks in a year…You’ve been doing this topic for an entire year! Congratulations! I still remember reading the first one. Man how time flies. Keep up the good work. Here’s to another 52!

  2. Thanks so much Toddmen. I did skip one week due to a power failure, but yes, one year. Not bad, hey? I’m always open to ideas and guest Freaky Friday input, just send me an email. ;-)
