Today is yet another Friday, so that means it’s Freaky Friday. If you need to know more about this journal writing challenge please read the First Freaky Friday entry.
I attended a funeral today. This was for the friend I mentioned on Saturday who died of cancer. Staying with this idea I came up with this week’s challenge on the drive home.
Today write an entry in your journal where you find yourself attending a funeral. As you listen to the proceedings you become aware that this funeral service is for you. What is being said about you? What do you wish would be said about you? Spend time imagining observing your family. What are they doing? How are they taking this event?
Of course, if this journal writing challenge is upsetting to you for any reason simply write something about a funeral in your journal. Just see where the word funeral takes you today.
