Freaky Friday #68

Today is Friday and that means it’s Freaky Friday. If you need to know more about this journal writing challenge please read the First Freaky Friday entry.

After finding a very cool link to journal writing on this blog the trail led me to this very interesting article about the process of keeping a visual journal.

The challenge for today is about creating a visual journal entry. For a change, in particular if you rarely use any visual medium in your regular journal writing, challenge yourself to use anything but words. This could be a collage, doodle, drawn, painted, cartoon, or any other visual process you can think of, entry. Words are off limits. Not because there’s anything wrong with them, but the idea is to find a different perspective on your life.

If you feel more comfortable, create your entry on some other paper or material and only add it to your journal when the entry has time to dry or settle. Hone in on an emotion or event that is happening right now or is looming for you.
