You’ve probably seen this news story or another like it about President Bush’s Australian visit. The Chaser’s War on Everything were stirring things up as usual, but this time it’s gotten them into serious trouble. Have you ever been involved in a practical joke or prank that went seriously wrong?
It’s the kind of thing that can often happen with practical jokes. There’s an element of unpredictability that simply begs for things to go the wrong way. If this has been an experience you’ve had, either as the prank player or the person the prank was played on, spend some time writing in your journal about how things could’ve gone. Perhaps write the situation up as it should’ve gone. Write what did happen and then recreate the situation. You might be amazed at how much better you will feel after this journal writing challenge.
