Free Comic Book Day

Yesterday, we went to our very first Free Comic Book Day. It is held on the first Saturday in May each year and the next day will be May 1st, 2010.
The kids had a lot of fun and found some great comics on the free tables, like The Adventures of Gumby and Cars. We got to meet some published comic book authors and saw life size characters. (Some stores have actors in super hero costumes at their events, but the life size characters were really great and didn’t scare the little guys with any sudden movements.) And, did I mention the price for this fun event? Free!
